名称 PORTRADE （ポートレード）の由来は港／PORT　と　取引所／TRADE を掛け合わせた造語。駅前は玄関口、いろんな人が行き交う場所。ここポートレードも、気軽に立ち寄れて、色んなヒト、モノ、コトが交わり、繋がる場所にしていけたらという願いを込めました。是非お立ち寄りください。

When two good friends and long-time residents of Fujino, Rie and Takuto (a.k.a. Tsucchi) came across an abandoned open space in front of Fujino station, they immediately saw the potential for people to gather, rest, learn, and enjoy themselves here.

The charming shop raises awareness for fair trade merchandise, and offers a space for you to sit and sip an organic drink or two while you pick a book to borrow and buy some rice or organic food to bring home.

There’s also a counter with all the information you ever wanted to know about this area – not just Fujino, but also including the surrounding areas which have a very similar vibe. Come and check out Portrade today!

ちなみに、ロゴのペンギンは
PORTRADEの頭文字「P」と、「Dr.スランプアラレちゃん」のペンギン村からとったイメージキャラクターです。
ペンギン村では、アラレちゃんをはじめとする個性豊かな住民たちが暮らしています。
その人間模様が、ここ藤野のイメージにぴったりだと思いました。
